Questions
Do I keep a free license after the promo ends?
Yes. A license you claim while the promo runs is permanent. When the promo ends, new copies are $19.
How many computers can I use it on?
Three at a time. You can free a computer yourself from My Licenses when you switch machines.
Does it need the internet?
Once, to activate. After that it checks in about once a month and keeps working offline in between, so a studio with no Wi-Fi is fine.
How do updates work?
The app tells you when a new version is out and downloads the installer for you. Updates within version 1 are free.
I own Chords or Birds. What about Songwriter?
Songwriter includes both, so a Songwriter key unlocks all three. If you already own one, keep your key. It keeps working either way.
